HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL CUSTOM CONTENT
Before downloading and installing the custom content (commonly called CC - Custom Content -) make sure you have checked "Enable custom content and mods" in the game Options, then click "Apply Changes" and exit the game.
Restart the game after installing the custom content.
The Custom content for The Sims 4 has several file formats.The file format of which I will explain the installation is called .package,
and it's the extension of custom clothing, hairs, accessories, make-up, skin details, shoes and furniture.
The destination folder of all the Custom Content is called Mods,

If you have started the game at least once, inside the "Mods" folder you will find a file called Resource.cfg, which is useful for reading custom content and therefore should not be removed at all.
At this point I suggest to create various subfolders, inside "Mods", in order to organize the custom content according to the type,

When you want to download a retexture from my blog,in addition you will always have to download the original mesh, otherwise the content will not be visible correctly in the game!

Put the .package files you just downloaded into the Mods folder.

HOW TO REMOVE THE INSTALLED CUSTOM CONTENT
Just delete the file you want to remove from the MODS folder.
To eliminate the remaining traces (the cache),
I recommend also deleting the localthumbcache.package file located in Documents \ Electronic Arts \ The Sims 4 \ Mods (it will be generated again every time the game is starting).
